Respectable release of General Retired Pervez Musharraf Ex Chief of Army staff and Ex-President of Pakistan

Pervez Musharraf has been granted bail in all five cases now there are no restrictions on his movement - Musharraf’s defence lawyer Ilyas Siddiqi said.

General Retired Pervez Musharraf had been involved in five different cases as the court proceeding went ahead;

a)    Breaking of the constitution Musharraf faced high treason charges as he had suspended the constitution and imposed emergency in 2007. The high treason case was initiated by Nawaz Sharif who formally approached the Supreme Court for Musharraf’s trial.

b)    Judges confinement & house arrest abstaining to perform judicial duties

c)    Attack on Islamabad Red Mosque where of Abdul Rashid Ghazi, the senior cleric of the Red Mosque was killed in the military operation during Musharraf’s rule in 2007

d)    Assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto in 2007 and

e)    Killing of senior tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti in a 2006 military operation

General Retired Pervez Musharraf is freed from all allegations leveled against him - The so called fabricated cases in which the Ex-General had been trapped and dragged and even the govt. kept the private and public machineries involved trough out six months now ends in fiasco following the court verdict as an allegations in five cases that’s could not prove Musharraf involvement asking his lawyer to deposit surety bond for every individuals cases probably Rs.200k each.
No doubt Govt. spent about millions of amount on Musharraf trials, Services of Judiciary in Supreme Court and High Court, law enforcement agencies at provincial and federal level, deployment of heavy contingent of security personnel escorting him whether Musharraf was at his farm house or attending the court proceeding in Islamabad and Baluchistan, a fool proof security had been ensured getting threat of his life from Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The drop scene of Musharraf trial (a drama) now has been cleared to the people of Pakistan that basically the govt. wanted to keep Musharraf away from Electoral process rather in broader sense govt. abstained him to take part in election and contesting election from any constituency of Pakistan that’s why despite qualifying from Chitral and Karachi he was disqualified and even from Baluchistan high court Musharraf had been barred (life time) for not to take part in country’s electoral process that’s went one step more.
Musharraf returned Pakistan in March 2008 from his self-imposed exiled in UK nearly after four-year to take part in the General Election held on 11th May 2008.

Musharraf was placed under house arrest on April 19 following police interrogations over allegations he overstepped his powers while he was in office from 1999 to 2008.

Musharraf Farm house where he had been detained for more than six months where its status been converted into sub-jail now it will be withdrawn following a notification to be released by the court his lawyer Ahmed Raza Qasoori said in a press conference.

The lawyer however also has demanded the removal of Musharraf’s name from the Exit Control List.
